This is a wonderful and very unique pueblo village house in the old town of Benijofar. Large and beautiful country house with lots of light, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a wonderful patio with a private swimmingpool.
The property is located in a cozy village street behind the church, in the same street as two small local bakeries and a flower shop. Benijofar village is known for its charm and is an authentic small Spanish village. The population is mainly Spanish, but some Norwegians, French and Belgians also live here. Here you can still have fresh bread and eggs delivered to your door if you wish.
This gem is located in a very quiet and pretty street with many nice neighbors who can tell old stories about these homes. This house is perfect for those who want to live in real traditional Spain, but at the same time have access to many great facilities such as restaurants, cafes, bakery, gym, pharmacy, parks etc.
The house is painted in terracotta and ocher yellow as it is currently owned by a Norwegian artist couple.
The house was completely renovated in 2018 but some of the old architecture was preserved, such as a lovely brick wall in the patio and the whole architectural style was also respected. All woodwork in doors and windows is a copy of the originals. The home is located on a plot of approximately 254 square meters and the building area is approximately 173 square meters. The entire home is on one level.
You enter a wide, large hallway and then there are two large bedrooms, one on each side of the hallway, both with wardrobes and windows to the street. The entire home has a very good ceiling height and thus gives you an open and airy feeling.
Then there is a large living room with a fireplace with its own exit to the patio.
Large bathroom with floor heating that has both a shower and bathtub. There are two beautiful windows that look out onto the patio.
Lovely separate dining room with glass doors opening onto the patio. Large shed/storage space behind partitions and with an exit door to the street, perfect for keeping bicycles, outdoor furniture etc.
Charming kitchen with pleasant dining area, plenty of cupboards and all white goods/equipment. Great original windows that look out onto the patio.
Benijofar is a “hidden pearl” amongst the orange fields only a few kilometers inland from Guardamar del Segura. It is on one hand a charming and very typical little Spanish town but it has also embraced each and every newcomer making it quite an international melting pot.
Benijofar has its church and plaza surrounded by cafés and restaurants, there are banks, shops, grocery stores and a butcher, schools and a medical center, a library, several parks and buss service to larger town such as Almoradi, Guardamar and Torrevieja.
Benijofar is the perfect choice for those who want to be close to the beach towns, but far enough to be able to enjoy the quiet life in a Spanish pueblo. It is also excelent for those looking to spend more time here, since it has a lively community all year around, with many events and happenings.
The town itself has kept a lot of its old architectural style, and you find little cobblestone streets with the typical pueblo houses. In the surroundings of Benijofar you also have several new developments, with modern contemporary designs.
