Rojales is a small city 10 minutes inland from Guardamar del Segura that sits on the bank of the River Segura and is a main point on the Rio Segura walking and cycling route. It is a charming Spanish town that is lively all year around and has all the modern amenities one would need.

Walking around you will find the town hall and tourist office, municipal outdoor swimming pool, several playgrounds and a theatre that always puts on a good show.

You can buy your fruit and vegetables at the street market every Thursday, and walk up to the Cuevas del Rodeo and the artist caves up the hill.
